We've always owned young horses, it seems that we keep raising new ones so we never really got to enjoy a well seasoned horse until about 2 years ago when my wife bought an 11 year old horse that's a "just saddle him up and go" horse, he's locked in all the time, he probably knows more about trail riding and gaiting than we do and he has changed my wife's life. He's a great horse and a pleasure for her to ride and own.
