I am thinking of camping at the horsemans camps at our State Parks and showing them how they can have fun enjoying our Lords creation without all the chemicals. To set an example without the drugs and alchol.

Reuben, thank you for expressing your opinion about horses that are abused. We have to re-educate people and change their preconceived notions of what is acceptable horse care and handling. We should not benefit from a horses's pain.

Reuben, I live close to Why Not Ranch and a bunch of us ride there all the time. Let me know when you're ready and we'll plan a ride or a camping trip.

Hi Reuben, I've read some of your comments on natural health for our horses. That is an area of real interest for me. I believe our Creator put everything here we needed to get and stay healthy. I have a horse that is hard to put weight on. I've done the vet thing, payed a lot of money for him and medicine. Found 3 big beans and said he had a bladder infection. I'm feeding him Senior feed even though he is only 10 and giving him electrolytes to help with water, energy, etc. I also gave him a tube of probiotics. Most people think he looks good. I have had horses all my life and own 6 at present, so I don't think I'm being to picky. He is a great horse and has energy when ridden, comes in strong and very competitive. What do you think?

Thanks for the opinion I really appreciate all advice. You mentioned somthing about a breed of gaited horses that are still selling well, I was wondering if you would give me a little more info about these horses?

That's a shame that the mustang club is no longer active. I was an active member from about 1984-1994, had a matching pair of bay mustangs, rode on the drill team and showed, and traveled around some to promote the mustang breed. I thought the club did a lot to promote the BLM mustangs and to show what great horses they are.

Hi Reuben--I live in White co. and would be interested in riding in White, Warren and Cannon cos. I've done some riding at the base of Spencer Mt. not far off Hwy 111. I'm just trying to get started back to riding after a serious injury and would do well with a few short rides to get me started. Might you be interested in another mustang? I just had someone offer me one just to give it a good home.

I would love to hear about your mustangs - I had a matching pair for about 20-25 years - they were the best horses I ever had. Do you know anything about the mustang club that used to meet at the adoptions center - they used to have shows and a drill team and I used to be very involved in all that. Thanks! Jeannie C.
