How many horses do you own?
I am owned by 5 horses, 2 are TBs, and 3 are draft crosses, Mr Moose being the most famous
What breed do you own primarily?
I only ride non gaited horses, I just prefer horses who can trot and canter
Where was your favorite trail riding experience?
As long as I am on my horse, I am happy, but I love to ride a AEDC and hunt at Beechgrove
Tell us something about you, anything.
I had shown extensively on the hunter circuit in and around NY/NJ/CT and then did alot of showing and training in dressage. I spent alot of time showing but now prefer foxhunting and trail riding.

Yet another great Beechgrove Hunt

Again, the weather was perfect. After some nasty January weather, Feb has been kind to us so far and lets hope winter is truly over with.

We had a great time, headed out with 23 hounds, wow what a sight to see. They worked very well.

Some nice trot, canter and hand galloping work, a few nice jumps, and several big trees to jump over, which I prefer. Though we were out for little over 2 hours, we did alot of riding. The views are breath taking from the top of several ridges. I… Continue

Another great Beechgrove Hunt

Another great hunt. And I saw a coyote....my first one in three years while hunting !! yippeeee. Actually I think, but we are not sure, that we had three coyotes depending on where you were during the hunt ! Mr Coyote just checked me out and continued on his merry way . He was a good size fellow too ! The weather was beautiful, THINK SPRING , 66 and sunny and the footing was great. So nice to see the sun for a change. Lots of trot and canter work. A nice workout , keeps you fit ya know (wink)… Continue

Foxhunting with Beechgrove Hunt

Another great hunt with BGH !! Weather was beautiful and the footing was excellent. Hounds worked exceptionally well. Staff even Tally ho'd a coyote. We had alot of nice gallops, traveling up and down several hills, beautiful views and vistas.

My TB, Gentle Ben, who is now 20 years old, did a great job of keeping up. I give the old boy credit.
Remember we do have an OPEN public hunt coming up in March, everyone is invited and we will all have a great time.

Hi Patti, nice to have a "virtual" visit. -- I rode with Luther and others at AEDC 2 wks ago, then the Wartrace ride last weekend, used Goliath for those rides. Do you have any magic formulas in your pharmacy for a foundered horse, my mare has foundered, now hobbling about. I got a new TWH today to try, will keep him out of the big pasture so he doesn't founder, something else to worry about, # % ^ * & @

May 23? Mufreesboro? I am still open that day (thank God) so I might. Hadn't thought about it, gotso much going on right now-like keeping WARM, dammit.
It is a fun, low key show, and they usually have a knowledgable judge.

Hi Patti,
How long in miles is the PWHAT ride they are suppose to have this weekend at Natchez Trace, do you know? I finally found a topo map on the internet but wasn't sure the course the ride takes. I was just curious. Also do you think this rain we are suppose to have will cause it to be postponed? Thanks, Rhonda

Hi Patti........would you like to be my friend? Hey have you ridden at Duck River in Culleoka? If so is it very rocky? Sandy told me they were moving the PWHAT ride to there on Sunday instead of at Percy Warner.

Patti, what's the story behind "The Foxhunters Gang" (or the mission statement of the group). I'd like to add that to your group description.

Sounds like a riot. It's on my birthday. I don't know yet what I'll be doing, but I bet I'll be on a horse!
