I am so excited about the upcoming playdate at my place in Wartrace, TN. It looks like the weather is going to be kind to us and give us a good day. I might even think up a few challenges to use in a friendly competition, if anyone is interested.

I am telling people to be careful turning onto the driveway. Due to all the rain we have been having the drains have been caving in. You'll have to make sure you make a wide turn into the driveway and come in straighter.

Don't forget your coggins.

Hi Jackie: The playdate starts at 10am. Bring a lunch, I will provide the drinks. . . bottled water, various sodas diet and regular. I also have a refrigerator and microwave to use if you need it. You'll need a recent coggins to show. Bring your imagination. I might even have a small tournament. . . anyone interested?

Hey Jackie...I bit the bullet and ordered a brand new Bob Marshall saddle last week! Really excited, many great testimonials from the discussion on the saddle. Vicki :-)

Oh--I think the place on Dale Hollow is called Red Oak Ridge. It's above Celina.

Jackie--I think you are about an hour or less from me. There are some trails I've ridden here in the county we might try. Also, there are some trails I'd like to try and go off the trail to explore. Out of Mrufressboro I take Hwy. 96 to Hwy. 70 then go right into Smithville. Go straight through to Center Hill Lake and Sligo boat dock. After you cross the bridge, you'll go about 8 miles to my place. Easy to find. 931-761-2131

Hi Jackie--I'm still looking for a trail guide for us. I don't like to ride with drunks, nor put my horse in danger (not to mention myself). I've camped and trail ridden there twice. If you'd like to drive about an hour from my place there's good riding on Dale Hollow Lake where you view the lake from a lot of the trail. (I'll be 59 soon, lol)

Hi Jackie---I'm in need of a riding buddy and my time is flexible. Maybe we can ride together some time. Are you familiar with Short Mountain? I'm wanting to ride there if anyone knows the trails. I like to explore and go off the trail as well--I just make sure I take plenty of provisions lol I live in Sparta, too.

I live in Sparta which is about 25 miles south of Cookeville. As for camping, we have a trailer with sleeping space in it and we enjoy camping as well. Trail riding is our favorite past time as well, we have been to a number of areas but we keep talking about going to Cades Cove. Hopefully we will go this summer.

Hi Jackie, thanks for the comment about my pictures, I hope to add more as the riding season gets into full swing. I am fairly new to TN and looking for people to ride with and places to ride. Would love to find riding buddies to check out the trails. Take care, Val
