Is Normandy down in Coffee county? I have heard about it but never been there - what are the trails like? I'm not familiar with Sulfur Creek either.
I am finishing finals in school soon - first week in November I have two big ones. After that I should be able to meet up somewhere to ride for sure. I have a study group this weekend. ugh.
Let me know about those trails though and I'd love to meet up after these final exams. I have another friend that might be interested too if that's ok. My gelding is barefoot and his feet have toughened up very well - I might need shoes depending on the trails....
Jackie, we should try to meet sometime at Walter Hill it is halfway for both of us. I notice that you like to do the same things as I do. Unfortunately the weather is not cooperating. The only place I like to ride when it's been this wet is Percy Warner, do you ride there?
Take 840 to I 65 South, Take first Columbia Exit (#47 I think, Cracker Barrel is there) go right toward Columbia, follow this about 5 miles to Hwy 50 exit and go West away from Columbia (it is a weird circle to the left exit) about 12 miles you will go through the small community of Williamsport, cross the Duck River and go up a long hill at the top turn right in Williamsport Lakes (large sign) and go straight will take you to the trail parking. See you there call if you need help: 931-334-4399

both went to doctor today and got good reports...marcia's scans showed no new cancer anywhere..so it's still in remission. mom had 9 dr.'s working on her case, 5 thought she needs to start chemo and radiation immediately, 4 think radiation, and maybe chemo later. she is going to do 3 wks of radiation, 5 days a wk, and after 3 months they will do another scan and then decide. her doctor knew mom would not go for the chemo..thank you for asking...and hope to see you soon
that would be great. we could have a pumpkin carving contest along with other things. do you know if she is still going to try and have a wagon available...my mom may actually come up with us, and she would love that...oh, and tell rocky to get ready...i am bringing the 5 yr old on this trip...
i know, i thought about it 1/2 way thru the ride. i felt awful about it, but decided that the park would be a good place for us to meet and ride. This is my weekend to work, so i will not be able to ride. I am still planning on going to Long C the 30th, so i hope i will see you there. i haven't heard from karen, so i don't know if i need to help her with anything. if you talk to her, ask, and let me know.
Jackie, I'm doing great...love this fall weather! Not sure where Eagle Mtn is???? Would love to know where it is also, maybe you were thinking of somebody else? Would still like to try to meet up sometime. Vicki
