My mother was from the Corsicana TX area and my uncle Clyde is still living in the San Antonio area. It's been a long time since I've been there but I have fond memories of summer vacations as a youngster at Granny Turner's. Her neighbor had a horse I rode. I always loved the prarie and wide open spaces. --NG

You and I live a LONG way from TN! LOL! Wisconsin is under snow and cold right now but come Spring I do get the long loose hair off my horses and get ready to trail ride when time permits. I have an old 25 year old Racking horse (hubby's) named "Suede" and my little 14.3H "champagne TWH named "Charlie" and my champagne mare "Dusty" who is Racking horse reg. and my TWH sooty buckskin "Brodie" who I need to put time into this summer. Whom or what are your passions in horses?! :) Holly

I have friends who come visit and ride here once or twice a year and we meet other places during the year. Also go to NM and visit a friend there. My friends live in the Jackson and Tyler area if you want to join us sometime. We all ride gaited horses. A large group from TX is coming over in June and go to the Smokies and then we are all going to VA. If you travel you might want to join them sometime. Hope to meet soon.
