hey Kelly, we had a great time Sunday didn't we? Absolutely have to do it again. Isn't Adam a sweetie for taking us...whenever we go riding with him we let him be the 'trail boss' and lead the ride, except for whenever Anna, the fearless wonder, decides to race with him or Olivia or Renea! lol I am hoping when I get my new saddle with the suede seat I will feel more stable in the seat and more secure for the faster gaits. Right now, though I am quite content just walking, talking, and enjoying the scenery. Wayne doesn't always get to go with me, so I could possibly come get you also if need be. We will give you a shout next time we ride. Did I hear you tell Sonya that you do have something to pull a trailer with? If so, then you can rent a trailer from the Co-op. That is what I did until I found a trailer. Ride safe!
Hi Kelly, sorry it took so long to get back to you, it has been a busy week. I live over on the other side of Bear Creek Pike. I think we are planning a trail ride over on Hwy 50 on Sunday. Love for you to join us.
My friend Audrey - She is the one on my comments. She is really a nice lady and loves to ride alot! But don't we all. She lives on 431 in Columbia. I live in Franklin right now, but we are hoping to find a nice farm a bit out of Franklin.
Hi Kelly.. I live off of Hwy 7..so, we are kinda close to you.. We ride alot at the rock corry off of Hwy 50 toward Lewisburg.. and we ride Many Cedars.. The lakes at Williamsport, and Laurell hill.. and also a place called Tiger Bennett.. they are all great places to ride.. We ride other places too.. but we are always welcome'n a new person into the group..!
Kelly, Seriously your mom name is Judy Culbertson? Mine is Judi Culbertson - too funny. Does she ride too? I board my horses in Lewisburg, but my friend Audrey lives there in Columbia. She is on here too. She loves to trail ride. Audrey is the one that put me on a horse and I got hooked! I am loving every minute of it too!
Hi Kelly, I live on Trousdale Ln off of Campbellsville Pike, about 2 or 3 miles past StoneyBrook Golf Course. I ride with a friend that lives out near me. She has the horses, I do not have my own horse, but hope to get one soon. You are welcome to ride with us anytime. We go to Duck River (HWY 50 TWRA) or Percy Warner, Why Not Ranch or Circle E. We have been to Big South fork once. Where all have you been riding?
thats great! I'm glad she put some more weight on!, Tell "horse" I said hi!!
Yeah, he's a real cutie, actually , we just found out today , that he had a twin!!, that is probably why he was a little smaller than most foals. Ya, I threw out the " after birth", ( I did'nt look through it like I should have)!, but then today, we saw a skeleton of another foal that the dogs must have drug out from the woods where I put the "afterbirth" , and it was another foal! it had formed pretty well actually, but, that's usually the case with twin foals, one almost always dies before birth, or shortly after. Tank will have hers any night now!, maybe tonight !!
TALK TO YOU LATER!!
Yes, i go through C.Grove about 1.5mls out of the village there is a turning on your right (little white house on the corner), that is owen hill, i am about 1.5 miles up that road, my husband says you are basically over the field from me as the crow flies about 4 miles basically, i think we are nearer than we actually thought, how about that !!
Hi Kelly, I was gone for over a week to Missouri on a ride. We had a tremendously great time!!! A number of us from the area go there every year. It is Big Creek Trail Rides at Hartshorn Missouri. I can usually take a day off during the week to ride. My home phone is : 840-6107. Call in the evening and we can plan a ride. Are you going to Bucksnort? I plan on riding Sat if it does not rain.
I usually take Thursdays off as it shortens my week, Mondays are tricky as i have all the payroll to do for our employees, i suppose i would prefer thurs or fridays really, if we can find somewhere i could come over on the weekends, let me know if you find anything around by you, have you tried putting something up on the web-site, it will have to be something you can ride out to though which could be difficult, a trailer is the only way to go but i know its a big expense, plus you have to have something to pull it- horses are expensive arent they !!! but worth it
Yes thats great, i dont know if you have time in the week, i was looking for someone to ride with yesterday, but everyone is working, i am very unsure about riding out alone on the country lanes, especially if there is no-one home that i could call etc, it makes it even more risky, its a little tedious just riding around our land, i prefer to get out, if you can find something out where you board, i can trailer over there, let me know what your schedule is like, when do you plan to get a trailer? there is a bunch of stuff we could go to, i wish mine was bigger i could come and pick you up but i can only carry one at a time, i am planning to get something bigger, but we have been doing a lot of landscape work at our home $$$$$$ bla !!!!!!, let me know what you find out- belinda
We were looking online last night and are really getting the itch! I am hoping to purchase something before the end of the year! My HB is pushing east and I want middle TN so we need to figure it out..
