Hi Joe. It's been years and I can't believe I found you on this website. Tell Linda I said hi, too. I'd love to hear from her. If she has email, mine is email@example.com and I'm on Facebook, too. Your OLD friend Sue Schweikert Harman
Hey Joe, I went this last weekend on an ACTHA ride at Patterson Ranch in Charlotte, TN. Rain, mud, cold on Sunday, but we lived thru it. I'm going to Fran Bowers trail obstacle training this weekend in Kingston, TN. The weekend after that is another ACTHA ride down in Prospect, TN, then a Paint horse show in Murfreesboro, TN...........so busy, busy right now.
Well, if it isn't the wonderful Tennessee Joe once again...so glad we can keep in touch on here! I know, I'm stuck in this little hole of Leiper's Fork, I'll make it out one of these days. There's some good riding around here, though. Now the weather is warming up I think it's time for some wine and storytelling...
Hey Joe, Welcome to the group. Where is Springfield ? I live in the South Knoxville area. I'm going to Nashville this weekend for the renunion fund raiser for the 84 rescued last year in Nov. I'd love to ride sometimes if you are close. janet
Is this Tennessee Joe???? If so this is Cindy, we rode together on Easter at the park. The saddle fitting workshop is this Sat. 4-10 from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Sumner Co. co-op. I'm still thinking about going. Maybe I'll see you there.
Thank you for the Saturday night information. I would love to be there, although I am going to be visiting family in West Tenn for the weekend. I doubt I can make it back this time, but keep me posted and I will be there next time. I may need directions to the Gallatin arena, I have heard they have a new covered arena. Is that true?
Thank you so much for the directions, and please do get back with me for more specifics. I hope you will keep me posted on the spring opening. As for trail riding, we have ridden at Walter HIll, Many Cedars, Cedars of lebanon, big south fork, and mammoth cave(probably leaving some out). It just depends on the group we are previously riding with and where they all decide to meet up. That is why I am on here, to find riding friends that are closer to me, and not having to drive/haul 2 hours+ just to meet the gang.
Thanks for the picture comment, and I am trying to work my 4 year old for barrels. I raced in Shelbyville, but have not hit the big leagues yet. I so want to, and would really rather not ruin my boy and get a horse already trained, but the things are tight right now. I am located off Hwy 49 between Orlinda and Springfield, and just joined Ashland City saddle club last year. I wanted to join the one in Portland, but I can never catch anyone there or get a call back.
