Thanks for the compliment on our barn! We just moved here 3 years ago...when we started restoring it for horses (it was originally a hog barn) our neighbor told us he helped build it 60 years ago! There's a real sense of accomplishment when you do something like this yourself....good thing my husbend has the know-how!!!

The buckskin?champain? diffrent color mare belongs to a friend of mine and she is asking $1200 for her. She is 6yrs, 14.3hh very smooth gaited. The white one is my baby, he is 4yrs, solid 16hh, still a stallion and the biggest sweet heart. I love him but he does not have enuif motor for me. I like one that is full of themselves. Anyway let me know if you are interested in them and want more info or come ride them. Thanks!!

Where is the catfish farm? sounds like fun! Yes, I'm ready for some dry weather. Would love to get together & ride sometime. I recently got an Arabian gelding that has done endurance in the past, so I want to get him in shape for a race or two in 2010. Will post pics of him soon. Keep in touch.

Hello Lauryn--thank you for the compliments! You also have a very beautiful horse! Are there any organized rides coming up soon? Have you ever ridden any of the fall rides at East Fork Stables?

My black mule that is in all of the pics is a racking mule. I have had him in parades and all over. I've not had the wagon in any parades yet. I love my mules.

Hi Lauryn,
The closest one to me is Long C. It is great to load up for a day ride. My most favorite place is East Fork. Not so close to me, but Birdsong is not so close either. I have never been to Birdsong but some people have told me that it is really nice. That particular weekend they are doing the 3 meals a day. I love that! Saves me from tryin to pack a bunch of sandwich stuff and pop tarts! LOL If you decide to go, you do not need to pay anything up front but do call and let them know you are coming so they will have a stall and camp site for ya. Hope to see you there!

Hi Lauryn, I got your message expressing your wish for a Rocky; I love my Rockies but my favorites are TWH x Rocky crosses.

Hi Lauryn,
Yes, if you have never been to Loretta Lynn's its a good place to ride; lots of trails and water. And, it's pretty safe too.
the Bucksnort trail Ride is also a really good place to ride when they are open and if you are a camper, it's a REALLY fun place to camp.
You will enjoy both I am sure.
Richard

If this weather will straighten up, I need to take my mules on a ride and will more than likely be coming down that way. You are welcome to ride with us anytime and I'll keep you posted. I have a 13 yr old son that has not interest in riding either. Every now and then I can get him in the wagon.
