Hello Sheryl. It is unspeakable that people cause and then ignore the pain of their horses. Horses are contained by fences and barns and then trapped by human arrogance or ignorance. It is so difficult to interpret the needs of a horse in pain and I am appalled by people who refuse to call the vet. Neighbors struggle with calling Animal Control. They don't want to "rat on" their neighbors and they fear retribution. Someone has to be the voice of the horse. If our neighbor isn't doing anything wrong, he/she has nothing to worry about, right?

Check out www.womenontheedgetrailriders.org
That is the main Edge web site where you can see all the Edge rides and chapters. The Middle TN Chapter is hosting our first ride on New Years day at Why Not Ranch. We will be accepting new members at the ride..all you have to do is purchase an EDGE t-shirt. They are $15 + $3.50 shipping/handling. If you can't come to the ride or want to go ahead and get your shirt, you can order it from the womenontheedgetrailriders.org site. The cost is the same. Just tell Cheryl Boren that you want your name to go w/ the Middle TN chapter group.
You can see the names of our members on the WOTE site, and most of them are also on TTR, so you can introduce yourself to each other through TTR and get together to ride!
check out our blog at midtnwote.wordpress.com
I will also post events and casual day rides on our blog.
The other women in our TTR gang who I know live in Middle TN and would love to meet you are:
Pat Fields (her internet is down)
I also see Jcarrol and Dawn are in your posse, and they are also in the TTR WOTE gang. Y'all come to the New Years Day ride and get your shirt!
