At 4:40pm on September 1, 2009, Audrey Faye Rody said…: Hey Deb, Had to take Karma to the vet today.She had kicked and hit her leg or a horse kicked her in the leg . When I brought her up to feed , I saw her leg, it was very swollen all the way up to her hock. She had a couple of what looked like a puncture wound by her cornet band. But the vet said that those wounds were'nt what caused all that swelling. That she was sore on the leg, above the ankle. Anyways, he gave her a bunch of shots like penicillian, bute injection, banamine injection,baytril injection and a tetanus toxoid injection!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!! He also put 3-way sweat on her leg and wrapped it. Plus I have to give her antibiotic shots and bute every day .I have a trip coming up this weekend and wanted to ride her. He said to un- wrap her leg on Thursday and if the swelling goes away, that I might be able to ride her by Saturday. I sure hope so ,I love to ride my girl!!!!! The vet bill was $188.35, but she's well worth it!!!!!! Thanks for calling me that day about Karma!!!!!! Love, Audrey

It kills me cause I love every one of mine, like my family. I know you do too!!!! Who knows if in the near future , Dennis will have a job?Are you in the same boat? My horses are all I have left to enjoy!!!! We will be going to Honey Creek Horse Campground for the Labor day weekend, I can't wait!!!!! I've been riding every chance I get and I've been breaking Gun. I have three rides on him, in the round pen and so far he's doing good!!!!! I wish I could afford to send him somewhere to get him going really good. He's smooth from what I can tell so far, he backs really good and turns good,flexes good, but going straight he's all over the place. He 's getting better about his forward movement, just needs work!!!!! Hopefully I will have him on the trails soon, I will be taking him to Buffalo this year, maybe by October he will be able to go on some easy trails. Are you proud of me for just doing it,breaking Gun I mean!!!HA-HA!!!! Well it was nice knowing you, in case Gun does me in !!!Ha-Ha!!!! Can't wait to see you and Linda,Audrey

And so far I have'nt learned how to put pictures on here yet, Judi, a boarder here, said she would show me how.I an't wait to show my pretty girl on here and some of the trail rides I've been on. We went to Fort Mountain, in Chatsworth,GA. What a scenic place, best I've ever seen. Went to the Buffalo weekend before last. Had a good time as usual.
