Call me slow to reply. I noticed your question. I did board at Triple Springs for a short time in 2000 and I had this buckskin there with a Palomino gelding. I then bought a farm in 2001 in Cross Plains. I live in Springfield now always looking for good quarter horse riders , because she is slow but sure. I like LBL and going to East Fork in June.
Thanks for looking at my mare, she is somethin, yours are great looking too.
Keep in touch.
Thanks! I am glad to have found this site. My husband Mark and I ride every chance we get. We have 3 TWH mares, barefooted and have some wonderful trails just outside our back door. We are always looking for new places and new people to ride with. If you have some good suggestions, please let me know.
We stay at a place called Gilbertson's Lazy Horse Retreat. She has a couple of cabins at the base of the mountains that have either a round pen beside your cabin or a nice, clean barn for your horses. Look them up online.
My husband and I and my youngest daughter who is 14 ride about once a month, we usually go to Long C, Percy Werner, LBL or some place close like that. We go Townsend, TN just outside of Gatlinburg once a year too.

He is actually 3 now. Good luck with his first ride. If your desire is to have him/her follow you on trail, train him at home, so there will be no doubts when you finally hit the open trail.
LOL...OF COURSE!!! Jet horses are HOT by nature...they are ATHLETES!!! You have to be their friend....love them, gain their trust. Otherwise, they don't trust and they blow alot. My mare had been abused...and she could blow about some things. It just took time and personal love. I don't recommend a Jet horse for a horse you just get on and go and put up. A Jet horse HAS to be YOUR FRIEND. Then, they will go until they drop!
Hey & welcome neighbors! You asked about my aussie, LeDoux. He's more trouble to keep OFF the saddle. lol So glad you added me. Please keep in touch. Your aussie is beautiful, gotta love the breed.
Hey folks how's everything going. I lived in the Cross Plains area most of my growing up days. Graduated from East Robertson. Good to see neighbors on here.
Welcome to TTR! The brand on the buckskin is a brand that my husband created when we got his buckskin branded when we went to Eminence Missouri last 4th of July. He named to brand the "rocking S".
