Hi Sharon, Regarding PW Park. What does the Registration Form want to know? I like to come to PW but I am out of county. I would not even mind paying a reasonable use fee. Are they looking for volunteers to do trail maintenance? Some where on here someone posted that Walking Horse Assoc. donated $6000 toward trail maintenance. I do not know if that is true. If so they should be able to get a lot of trail maintence for 6000 as it is an existing easy trail. From what I saw down all last year I could take my two farm hands there with a chainsaw and ATV and clear it all in one day. It's not like they have to hike in to the places. A lady I rode with there said she knew Tommy Lynch, Park Director and that he was fixing to retire and he didn't care so loudest voice was who was going to win. I would think someone from that county would go to the actual meeting and find out the real scoop. Dawn
Oh yes, I remember you now. Bud lost the farm and moved. The subsequent owner also lost it. A new family bought it and an adjoining farm and all is well. They are good people and rodeo and barrel race a lot.

NATRC is short North American Trail Ride Conference. It's competitive trail riding. my husband & I entered our first one this past Sept. at East Fork. We did one day novice, which was 23 miles. you had a min. time of 5 hrs, max. of 5.5, vet in and out and 2 p/r (pulse/repiration) checks during the ride. We loved it! NATRC is having their annual convention, which is also their 50th anniversary, in Nashville in Feb. Lots of good speakers and vendors :) Website is www.natrc.org
