For those who didnt know little ole Cross Plains has joined the ranks of horse riding elite. Josh Lyons, son of world famous clinician John Lyons, has bought a facility and is training Lyons certified trainers in our home state. We are excited because Josh's new facility is only a mile from our home and dont think that we will now be slipping down there and peeking in the cracks of their barn!!!!!!

Josh Lyons is originally from Colorado where his father John will still be training from. Anyone interested can go to lyonslegacy.com for more info

I've been to Josh Lyons facility as well. I enjoyed very much the friendly atomsphere that is displayed with everyone. All trainers very willing to help with any and all questions a person may have and if you want, they will ride your horse for you. If you get a chance, I would highly recommend taking the time to go and ride. Be perpared to have a lot of fun!!!!!!!!!

I have been to Josh Lyons facility and rode during their Winter riding series on Saturday evenings and had a great time.  Josh and his apprentice trainers will help you with any training issues or event you are working on.  His staff, very helpful and knowledgable, aways have a great time and learn alot.

That's great news, glad to hear he's here. I heard a rumor that the Carr's got the contract back for the BLM wild horse adoption facility. If it's true there's a whole pile of horses at Cross Plains to play with.
