There are two really good areas to access the Trace. The problem with getting on the trace is there is no interstate connection. You have to go through 2 lane roads etc. Garrison Creek is the northern most trail head; has large parking area, bathrooms, picnic tables. You just need to google map and see how to best access it for you. There is also a trail head off hwy 7 west of Columbia; I like this one, it is small, picnic tables no bathrooms. The trace is easier from this site and less rock. Both areas are great riding and I enjoy them.
