Looking from information on Lake Normandy horse trails

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Thinking of riding Lake Normandy this weekend...just a day ride and we have never been there before.  Looking for anyone who can enlighten me.  There is nothing I can google posted on the internet.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Happy Trails,

Vicki

From Murfreesboro area, take I-24 to exit 105.  Go South on Hwy 41 (towards Manchester); right on Blanton Chapel Road; Left on Lyndell Bell Road (there is a stop sign where you turn onto Lyndell Bell).  Not sure on mileage between turns...you can follow these directions on Google Maps and probably get correct mileage.  The trail head is on your right on Lyndell Bell right where the lake starts.  You will drop down a short hill and see a gravel/dirt area on your right where you can park several trailers.  It's just a wide area on the side of the road.  There is also a gravel road that turns to the right (right at the edge of this parking area).  You can pull down in there to park a trailer.  The actual trail head is on this little road.  After you are on the little gravel road, look to your left and you will see where the trail starts by going over a creek bank and then into the woods.  Normandy is a really fun place to ride, but the trails are not marked.  There are usually several people out there, though, so you can always ask if you aren't sure where to go.  The trails are steep; there are several areas with deep ruts and rocks.  There are some slides but you can usually find ways to go around them if you don't like that kind of riding.  On the up side, it is really beautiful and there are places where you can ride your horse down into the lake.  Hope this helps!

Where to trailhead is located and what the trails are like...we are supposed to meet a friend there who has ridden there before but I was curious as I could not seem to find anything on the internet.  Thanks for your feedback
