Another great hunt with BGH !! Weather was beautiful and the footing was excellent. Hounds worked exceptionally well. Staff even Tally ho'd a coyote. We had alot of nice gallops, traveling up and down several hills, beautiful views and vistas.

My TB, Gentle Ben, who is now 20 years old, did a great job of keeping up. I give the old boy credit.
Remember we do have an OPEN public hunt coming up in March, everyone is invited and we will all have a great time.

Still don't know the time yet, but I'm sure Elese will let us know. Calendar says Andersons. Bummer about the nasty sinus infection, I know your pain. Oh, I'm sooo glad you can get the 14th off, I am really going to need your help for the Open Hunt. I'll let Jim know you will be calling him

Riding and eating: yes, 2 of the treats of life!

I hadn't checked the meet locations for tomorrow, so thanks for the update. I've got a nasty sinus infection but I am planning on being there!
March 14--would you believe I have to work a trade show Weds-Thurs- Friday in Nashville? It finishes up Sat morning 3/14, I asked if I could please leave Friday night, my boss said ok!
Now, I don't know about the strawberries under those circumstances--
But I promise I will bring them again!
PS I will be calling Jim, he got in touch with me but I've been traveling-

Aggie, I think we are hunting at Anderson's this Saturday which means nice jumps ! I hope you can come, the temps look great at 60, which sure will be a blessing after the past two days, gawd...what a nightmare ! I have HAD IT with winter, I would even welcome a few dam flies at this point. Oh and you better make sure you can ride on March 14 for our open hunt !!! I mean it, you have GOT to come !!!!!!! And bring chocolate dipped strawberries if you can find any strawberries.....lololololol those were soooo good. You know you are old when all you can think about is riding and eating. lololol

Coach is still the bomb!!! What a great hunt we had on Saturday . The weather was perfect and the hounds did a great job from the initial casting. What a ride. Can't wait until this weekend. These can be the best hunts of the season at this time of the year . See everyone on Saturday the 7th

Hey Sarah,
To answer your question, yes, you can. We welcome visitors any time, not just on invitational hunts. Those are to promote the sport in a big, organized way but guests are always welcome any time. Just contact me privately if you want to know more. Go to our website www.beechgrovehunt.com to read more about us and it has a link to contact me from there.
Hope you can make it before the season ends March 21.

Would like to know how you would get started in foxhunting if you've never done it before. I have one horse I ride english that can jump. But, this would be totally new for the both of us. So, can someone unexperienced ride in the upcoming Beechgrove event?
