Everyone with the elections coming up it is the perfect time to meet the candidates and let them know about the need for more public horse trails here in our area. Numbers matter! Also, $$$$$. It is proven that for every $1 spent on tourism it yields a $7 return. Riders will come from other states plus we locals need more areas. Be polite but please let your voice be heard.

We had 15 riders at Laurel Hill Saturday as we rode the New Trail. For 2 of our riders it was either their first trail ride or first of that level. Everyone made it safely and we had a great time together. It was a little warm but not bad because we have so much water there for the horses and big shade trees. I believe as this trail is ridden it will become a favorite for everyone. I am going to try and organize at least 1 ride per month. If you could not make it this time, hope you will join…

Ok guys I need your help...I have a really great double registered Palomino Quarter Mare. I trained and showed her English, Western and Dressage (she placed in everything) but since I got into TN Walkers she has become a pasture ornament. I usually get her out a couple of times a year and let kids or green riders ride her around. Other than that she just stands in the pasture. I do not want to sell her but would let the right person lease her for care only. She has some arthritis in back hip,…

Several of us from Maury County are going to Shawnee on Oct. 30? We will be staying at Hayes Canyon. Anyone else going to be in that area? We have been there once before but still have a lot to learn about the trails and area.
Blessings, Linda

I have just returned from my first riding trip in NM. It was incredible!! I will post pics on my site this week. My friend's place was about 7000 ft elevation and we rode up to 9-10,000 ft. It was beyond anything I have ridden and I feel so blessed. We even saw a large elk herd one day. Attached is a poem God gave me to share about this experience. I pray each of you may be so blessed. Hi to all who rode with us Saturday at Primm Springs. What a GREAT day we had!!! Thanks to all who may have joined us for the first time. Hope you met some new friends and will come back again. I had a rather frustrating time as I was working on my son's horse who had developed some really bad 'marish' habits. I had not ridden her in about a year. I see now I am going to have to do this monthly to keep her in line. She is really the best horse I have....gaits like a dream. Just is the alpha and…
