Tell us something about you, anything.
I've been around horse practically all my life. As a child I showed speed events and as an adult I showed reining horses. Now, I just love to spend quality time with my animals trail riding and camping. I moved to Tenn. from Ocala, Fl. 3 years ago and am looking for riding buddies.

Hey Vicki, Well, I have waited to long for stalls. I talked to Gina and she is going to put my name down in case people got to many stalls or don't show up. If I don't have stalls then I won't be able to camp over night. However, if you decide to camp out the next weekend, then I should be able to get stalls. All the cabins have been reserved all the way into the end of Nov. If we don't get stalls I still would like to stay for the chili and stuff. Maybe. ;-) Anyway, I will be leaving my house at 730/745 and should be at your house around 830ish. Can't Wait!

Hi Vicki,

I haven't been to Bolo Club. It has been a while since I've been in the trail riding scene as I've drifted of into the world of dressage... however, I'm ready to take my dressage horse on more trails this winter and thought that picture looked like a wonderful place to go.

:)

Hey Vicki,
Are you riding this weekend? Let me know if I can tag along, if you are.

Hey Vicki, Thank you again for the awesome day. We really enjoyed the ride. The horses were so tired by the time we got home. We stopped by Sonic on the way home, b/c the kids were hungry. The horses were all asleep in the back. I'm excited about the opportunity to ride with just the grown ups at some point. That's if I can get out of the house without the kids knowing! Talk Soon.

Hey Vicki, I was in Waynesboro late in the evening and saw that you called, by the time I got home and got dinner fixed and homework done with the boy, it was late and I didn't want to call back to late. Anyway, two of my horses are barefoot, do you think they could walk in the area that you are talking about on Sunday, without shoes? The one with shoes is fine, but I need to get him reshod, Steve Moore had him for a while and had him shod when he was breaking him, b/c I took a pretty bad fall off of him the Aug. before last, which put me in ICU for a week. He is good now. I will call you tonight. Stacy

What type of hay are you growing? Rounds or squares? We are "hoping" to get an old square baler somewhere, DH can fix anything and put up enough hay for ourselves, but it will be a while with all we will have to do! Did you build a basement or storm shelter w/ our new home? Not to worried about the tornados, just want to be safe.

Hey Vicki, I lived in St. Augustine all my life. Two years ago I moved to GA for my husbands job and then we ended up getting divorced. I moved to TN b/c my Daddy lives here and my Aunts house was available to buy and its on our family property. So, my kids and I moved here and I am taking my Dad's business over come Jan. He is ready to retire. I have only been here since May and had my horses vetted before I left. I have used Dr. Bell recently to neuter two cats and spay one of my dogs. My lab just came down with a hematoma on his ear and Dr. Bell just operated on it. I haven't had any problems with him. Call me on my cell later this evening. I will be in Waynesboro for my daughters soccer game. 770-843-8687. Stacy

Ruff's is still going strong, we are about 10 minutes from there. We have been to McCulley's in the past, but they now exclude studs, so we no longer go there. We do head to the greenways once in a while, but we are across the street from the 100 mile trails in Altoona, so mostly we save fuel. We go to Tom Curtin's in Madison and rope during the winter. We have some friends we met at Tom that are relocating to Walnut Grove (?) just to the west of us. How did you wind up in the Waynesboro area? Do you buy an existing home or build? We have 36 acres of pasture, so we need to start from scratch and build a barn, a shop and have a home built!

Hey Vicki, Thanks for emailing me. I live out on Rayburn Creek Road. I would love to ride with you anytime you go. My son has football on Saturdays, but I think he only has one more game left, unless they have a bowl game. Anyway, I have only been riding one time in Laurel Hill and loved it. I was born and raised in Fl, so after trail riding on such flat land for all these years, I was totally loving the hills, creeks, and woods. My telephone number is 9317223156. BTW do you have a farrier? I called one and even emailed him my info and he never showed up. I have three horses and all three need to be shod before I can do any riding on rocky areas. Stacy

Thanks for the note! Sorry to say, we are still in Altoona! We have shown the place to a few folks, but with lending such a problem not sure how long we will be here. Where did you live in Ocala? Were w/ any clubs? We like to trail ride and plan to get some cattle to ranch rope! It is fun, slow and easy, even I can do it a bit! Do you miss anything about FL? We have some friends that moved to Waynesboro about 4 years ago, Joe & Judy Washburn, you may have met them already! Please stay in touch, I will drop you a note if we plan to travel up w/ horses, or when our place sells!
