How many horses do you own?: Personally I own 1...he is a 12 year old overo paint that I have owned and ridden for almost 9 years now...his name is Splashman. My husband has a bay roan whose name is Joe...and he is just a hoot. But we have 42 acres and there are 10 other horses in our pastures (both gaited and trotting)..all but 1 belonging to children and grandchildren...funny how that works.

What breed do you own primarily?: quarter

Where was your favorite trail riding experience?: Big South Fork is my favorite for terrain and Cades Cove would have to be my favorite for scenery. Emminece would be my favorite for activities. I can say something positive about most places I have ridden.

Tell us something about you, anything.: I have been riding since I was a child. Never seemed to outgrow it. I am a long arm quilter and my husband has a log home business. He has been building for about 30 years now. We have 3 sons in all and they all work in the log home business...1 daughter who is currently in nursing school in Bowling Green, Kentucky...and 6 grandchildren. I am on the Wilson County Fair board and actually chair their stock horse show...and I teach an aerobics line dance class. I like to stay busy.

Looking from information on Lake Normandy horse trails

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Thinking of riding Lake Normandy this weekend...just a day ride and we have never been there before. Looking for anyone who can enlighten me. There is nothing I can google posted on the internet.

My parents went twice and my brother has been there too....but they all took the Navajo guided Jeep trip. I do know that you can take your own equines...but you must have a Navajo guide. They will set up your camp in the canyon and give you a guided tour.....I guess you should contact the Chamber of Commerce and see who they reccommend. That area of Arizona is 1300 miles from me...and I have not hauled into Arizona to ride yet. Sorry I can't be more help.
