Hey Tina,
How are things going? I hope you're getting closer to being able to ride again. Things here are going well. I didn't get to ride on my last days off but hope to in a few days. We got caught in a thunder storm the last time I rode! That was wild, but fun. Hope to talk to ya soon.
Take Care, Linda

The bonding is happening kinda naturally I think. She is responding well to me when we ride and I feel her wanting to try and trust me. She has been no problem with her heat, this last time I didn't even have to seperate her from the boys. She looks for me to give her cues on what to do. She is still a little leary going out without other horses but she's getting better. She's taking Deuces place and that's hard for me. But she's winning my heart more and more each day. It took a while for Deuce to take Cadillacs place too, I remember. This little mares got a lot of heart and I really appreciate her helping me deal with all of this. Her and I are going to Loretta Lynns this weekend with Elinore and her grandson and husband. It will be our first camping trip together. I'm looking forward to it.

Hey how was your trip? You had great weather. Patty and I went down the road to the fishing creek and back. It's about 10 or 11 miles. We walked, it took us just under 4 hours. She did great. I went with my friends grandson, who is 12 and wanted to ride. Did I tell you that Patty had cut her back leg on something in the big pasture a few weeks back? Well it was a little swollen for a couple of weeks even tho I was doctoring the scratch and it looked good. Well I ended up freaking out about it and took her to the vet who told me it was nothing bad and in fact was healing up very nice. I feel better. Sonny went out and walked the pasture and can't find what she got cut on, and that bothers me a little. Anyway catch me up on your trip when you get a chance.

I know, I'm sorry we can't make it. But we'll see you soon I hope. I'm lovin my little mare Tina. She is precious. She's not that brave when we ride alone without other horses but she hasn't learned to trust me yet. Each time we go a little bit further. We got scared by a bunny rabbit the other day, but no it's fine nobody saw it so we're still cool. (: I can open and close gates from her back. She's awesome. I know I love this site too! Have a wonderful, safe trip.
