I've loved horses my whole life. It took me till age almost 16 to talk my dad into getting me one. He thought I would outgrow it, or hoped I would! It never happened. We camp with our Tennessee walkers. Trail ride only, no showing. They are both just big pets, spoiled rotten.
We have 2 children, 4 grandchildren (with a set of boy/girl twins), 3 dogs and 2 cats. A real zoo, my grandkids say.
I do not have any Buckskins for sale right now. I just sold one about 2 months ago that sounded like what you were looking for. They are so hard to find. A nice Bay or Palamino is also getting rare...I guess with everyone who quit breeding these pleasure horses all together - some of them are just getting scarce! Hopefully they will come back if the market ever gets any better. Leighanne- PS I will keep you in mind if I come across anything...
I know of Scotty and Brenda through Audrey Quarles of Alabama. We show Spotted Saddle Horses together. I beleive she stays with them when she comes to Tennessee for the horse shows. I tried buying Scotty and Brenda's old Stud Horse "Alen Jackson" - but by the time I was able to contact them, he was already sold. Hope to meet u on a trail one of these days...Happy Riding!!! Hopefully the weather will get better soon :) Leighanne - Tibbs Highway Horse Farm - www.TibbsHorseFarm.myeweb.net
His name is "Brown Dog" and he is a German Shepherd/Chow mix. At least that's what the vet said. I think there's something else there, too..but I'll never know! Someone dumped him at our house a couple of years ago and I just had to keep him! He's the sweetest thing! My husband only let me keep him because the dog and the horses are joined at the hip. I've never seen a dog love horses so much...he never chases them; and the horses actually pick him up by the collar (very gently) and he pulls off thesr halters. I have actually SEEN this!! I'd love to see a picture of your "Brown Dog"....
