At 49 I finally got my first horse - Buddy - and am loving it! He is a sweet boy and a powerhouse, a snuggler and a treat-lover. Of course I spoil him like crazy! We also bought my husband one - a smooth ridin' TWH named Trooper. When we're not on him though, he's a real naughty rascal!
Riding Buddy! I live in West Meade. I would love to come out and meet you and see the barn. I saw that place years ago. It was run by an older man who was a teacher I believe. Do they have a round pen? When are you going out? Let me know.
Lisa, I like your new pictures! Yeah, I took too much time deciding if I was going to buy Buddy. He's one of those horses you really have no fear of hoping on. I don't have a horse right now , just borrow. I'm thinking of trying a gaited horse(save my old back) So you didn't like the boarding place at Fairview? How did you find the place you are at now? Is it the place across from the cemetary? Thanks for writing back. I just love this website.
Hi Lisa, I rode Buddy last summer up at Gallatin. He is an awesome horse! I know Sue's friend Jill Biddle and I also know Brenda Goodman. I heard you board in bellevue? Just curious as to where. I don't own a horse right now but I'm always looking. I usually go out to fairview to ride where Brenda is. I have good friends there but am always interested to see if there is somewhere closer(I live in west meade) Give Buddy a pat from me! He is a sweetheart.
Hi Lisa! Did you ride this weekend? I rode all day yesterday. I did a morning ride and then went back out for an afternoon ride. Shiloh is probably hating me today. I hope you are doing well. Let's get together soon. Sue too!
Nothing new here! Just trying to stay warm. I'm glad Terry is enjoying his horse. Have you talked to Gerald? I saw him the other day. I don't think he recognized me. Tude training? No, not sure what that is. I'm sure some other people on here can tell you more about training than I can.
Lisa, we'll definitely have some group rides, I'm doing a fair amount of traveling this month in California and Florida but have begun talking to some folks about a ride within the next couple months. I hope you saw the notice for the All Cowgirl ride...you oughta join them, sounds like fun!
Howdy Lisa, thanks for joining Tennessee Trail Riders. We look forward to your "horsey" pictures that you can post and share with others on our website. Also try your hand at posting events, videos and trail ratings. Feel free to invite friendly trail riders and horse lovers.
Cheers and happy trails,
