Yes, I am located about 35 miles southwest of Nashville, out in the country. There are so many great places to go within a 3 hour drive of where I live, and thanks in part to the TTR web site, I have been to some of them and have met some great people to ride with. The events page is great to help plan trips for the future and get an idea of who might be going. It really saves time compared to going to individual web sites to see when a ride is being planned. I hope you get to come to the Women on the Edge ride...I have been trying to ride with them since last summer, but I always had to work whenever they had a ride close enough for me to attend. So I am excited about it. I hope to be able to ride with someone next Friday or Saturday...if the weather cooperates!
Hey Linda, maybe you could come to the Women on the Edge trail ride in June? It is at Timber Ridge in the Big South Fork. Check out the Events page and see if this is doable for you. I have been there once, but the weather was not cooperative so we didn't get to ride as much as we wanted. Can't wait to go back. Have you ever been to Circle E, Walls of Jericho, or Seven Springs? Those are places I haven't been to yet and I hope to hit all of them this year. Walls of Jericho and Seven Springs are both in north Alabama, I think. Circle E is still in TN.
Hey Linda! Welcome to TTR! Great people on here who love to talk about their horses, share info, and post pictures of their horses. Why Not is a great place to ride. My posse and I frequently rent the cabin and go for the weekend. We pile in with food, drinks, and music. We'll ride in the morning, come back and eat lunch, maybe take a nap, then get up, ride some more. Come back and eat supper, have a drink or two, then turn on the music and dance on the porch or around the fire. We have so much fun... I am just living the dream! Hope to see you there or somewhere on the trail. Ride safe!
