I currently just ride at home. I am ready to really go riding tho..Do you know about how far Cannon County is from Goodlettsville or even from Nashville. I am only about 20 minutes north of Nashville. Sundays are also a great day for me to ride.

Thanks Leslie, yes the first day of Big Snow is always a novelty.  From your pictures it looks like you are very active in the riding world.  That mare in my picture has had several episodes of founder but she was feeling pretty good on that day.  Got new shoeing job today for her and my gelding, I want to get on her and see whether she can be ridden now, and will religiously keep her off grass starting in March.

I think when it comes to apps either you love them or you don't. I have friends that think apps are terrible and then have some that want only apps. My colt is marked alot like yours! He is a doll, and so sweet and yours looks the same. His Mama is so pretty and such a good mare and a good mom that I would like to breed her again but I can't afford to have another horse. I pay board now for seven of them and recently lost my job and it is going to hard with upkeep but if there is a will there certainly is a way, and there is a will on my part!! My app mare has a what is called the Indian Shuffle Gait, it is very interesting and supposedly somewhat uncommon but goes back to the Nachez Prez Indian breeding stock. I love it. Today I get to go to the barn and work with that little guy who really isn't so little anymore, he now knows he is a horse and he is proud of that discovery!! Thanks for your comment! Have a great day

I just went to walter hill sunday. We went the directions opposite of the overpass. There were several trails that were too overgrown to take. It has been getting worse over time. It is almost as if a group of us needs to volunteer some time out there and get things usable again! My email is allearthworks@hotmail.com if you would like to send me your contact information. I would love someone close by to hang out with.

I live off 64 and I do have a trailer. I have been to Normandy once and loved it, but my horses are older so i am stuck to the easy trail. I am going to have to get a younger horse here soon. I usually ride Walter HIll, Percy Warner. Went to East Fork Stables in the spring and loved it. I am kind of new to the area so I am still learning about places.
