Percy Warner Park riding in 2011

It's now 2011, are they going to require us to have a permit and liability insurance for our horses before they let us ride there this year or have they, the park service, backed down?

They are required anytime a horse crosses state lines. Just call your vet and ask what they charge. Usually 20-30.00 per horse. THey just have basic info.. that the horse is healthy, temp and clear eyes,, etc.. Nothing really big is documented but that horse is healthy and can trave..

We took a weeks vacation acouple of years back and spent 5 days there... Rode somewhere different every day. There are stalls and wash bays for the horses. There is even a lundry mat.. The trails are really good, some slooping nothing really hilly.. Lots of dirt roads connecting. Can ride all day pack picnic lunches and just have a really nice time. Some of their trails are so wide they are wagon trails. One day we rode all the way to the lake. It was beautiful.
The camp grounds are good if your camping, clean bathhouse and things.
