Winter Riding Boots

Does anyone know of a good winter riding boot, one that is insulated and waterproof to keep your feet dry and warm?

Hi Ginger,

I know, that is why I planned it for January, to give the weather time to warm back up. However, we ride most of the year, so dr. said I need to stay off the horse at least 6 weeks, but he originally said 3 months. I told him we needed to negotiate that one:) He told me that was in case the horse spooked. I told him that was not likely, but we'd see how I felt at 6 weeks and maybe could give it a try. Think of me. Hope you have fun riding this winter:)

I hope you had a wonderful New Years. We rode New Years Day and it's been miserable since. I understand the busy thing:) My winter riding boots consist of weather proof hiking boots from Wal-Mart:) They work great! Waterproof, insulated.

Normandy is between Shelbyville & Tullahoma. Spring City is above Crossville towards Knoxville.

I'm having knee replacement surgery Jan 26, but hope to be back riding by spring. Keep in touch.

Blessings,
Lisa
