Tell us something about you, anything.
My wife , Teresa, and I own Saddle Valley Campground at Big South Fork. We have ridden and camped the area for over 15 years, and are natives of Tennessee. We rode all over Tennessee for years, and bought Saddle Valley 6 years ago. We enjoy show casing the Big South Fork area, and love meeting people from all over the country.

2011 schedule

Mar. 1 - 31 Spring Special: Campsites $15.00, stalls $8.00

April 15 - 17 Spring Ride Come ride the trails of Big South Fork from Saddle Valley all weekend, and let us take care of the meals ,and planning the rides.

May 28 - 30 Memorial Day Weekend ride and BBQ pork "pot luck" dinner.

June 11 Scavenger Hunt.

June 19 Father's Day canoe trip.

July 2 - 4 Poker Run trail ride & BBQ at pavilion.

July 5 - Aug 31 Summer Special: Stay two nights get third night free.

Sept 3 - 5 Labor Day Weekend, Ed’s pulled pork barbecue and "potluck" dinner .

Sept 10 - 11 Charit Creek: Ride to Charit Creek and stay over night. Reservations will be needed well in advance.

Oct. 7 - 10 Fall Ride: 4 days 3 nights through the northern part of the park.

Oct 29 Halloween Party and costume contest.

Nov 12 Trailer to power lines and ride Station Camp Creek.

Nov 25 - 27 Thanksgiving weekend ride.

World Record Ride for the Mustangs!

I am so excited that you planned for the Spring ride to be the weekend of my birthday. lol However, we want to come do that ride a weekend that Teresa can go with us. Ya'll are the best! What happens in costume will always stay in costume. Can I wear a costume in April?

No i just found out about BirdSong the week of the 19th. Think I will go for the 23, 24, 25. They feed you, I like that kind.hehe Gonna call tomorrow, hope they got room for little ole me and Fancy. She is my walking horse, she loves the trails too.

I'd love to go on the Charit Creek ride but just am not able to right now. This and the October ride both sound like wonderful trips. I will keep your website and am looking forward to riding with you in the future.

Just curious if this ride may happen again later in the fall...would love to go as I haven't ridden that much of BSF but am already booked to go flyfishing in Maine these dates....life is good!!!
