Cooling off in Historical Tumbling Creek

Four guys from Dickson and Humphreys County, Tn rode trails near the Bucksnort Campground Saturday and the pictures were made in Tumbling Creek, which winds through the community of Poplar Grove Tn.
This was Herbert Wilkinson's first ride on the trails. The others ride often. Dean Butler servers as a resident trail guide for Bucksnort.

Dean, did you ride at Laurel Hill Saturday with your friends? We went to Rails to Trails in Alabama for a short ride. Wind was rough! We have an organized ride planned for Williamsport lakes March 27th. I will post it on the events site here.

Sorry that we missed you at Williamsport Lakes yesterday. Linda and a lady friend, my friend Tim and I, rode 10.5 miles on the trails. We saw your tracks on the road when we were coming out. The trails are a little hard to find if you don't have someone to show you the first time. We noticed a couple of places that need a little work, but most of the trails are in good shape. I noticed that you were a guide at Bucksnort. Can you ride any time or just on orgainized rides? Johnny

Hello Dean, hope you had a good Christmas. My New Year's Resolution will be to do more horse riding in 2010 ! ! Hope to make it to Bucksnort for a couple days, at least. My draft horse is for sale if you know anyone who's looking for a big-un.

Didn't get to see much of you at Bucksnort during the ride. Hope you had as good a time as Gary and I did. Weather was good. We had such a change that one day had to be good for everyone(from almost cold to hot) Looking forward to more riding.
