I am just a country girl who loves my horses. I like nice and easy trail riding. I dont like anything that is challenging or dangerous. I dont want to ride anything that will get my horse or me hurt. I am always looking for someone to ride with.

Looking for a good place to do some camping and trail riding this summer

Me and my parents are wanting to try and find a place that has a good camp group and trails. We dont like anything steep, so hills are ok, but we just like to relax and take it easy when riding. We live in west tn, does anybody have any suggests. I know there isnt much in west tn except for LBL, which we are dying to try out. But could someone suggest some good places to go around west or middle tn.

Gosh Angie, I got those 5 years ago and the woman who managed the ranch ordered them. I think you need to measure the bottome of the hoof from front to back and side to side at the widest parts. Then I believe you use those measurements in determining what size boot your horse needs. I THINK. If you have those measurements on hand then perhaps you could speak to a rep of the company you are ordering from. Even if you get them somewhere else I bet you could find some company where you could get some advice about them. That's about all I know to tell you. Hope you are doing well. I sure enjoyed our coffee time.:) Stay in touch. Karen

Hi Angie--ok, the Huddle House it is at 3:00. I will be driving a silver Toyota Matrix. I think I will recognize you from your photo on this site.
That's the time of day when I need a cup of coffee so this is great. See you there! Karen

Hi Angie-Well, will it ever stop raining??? We were going to try to ride yesterday aft. but it was so wet on the Mon. ride that we figured all the puddles would be just that much bigger. We are supposed to try again this aft. but I think it is still going to be too wet. Anyway, would you like to try to meet Thursday after school? If somewhere in Crump is more convenient I can go there but I don't know what is there so you would have to tell me where to meet....or we could try the Toll House in Savannah. Whatever is more convenient with you. Just let me know place and time and we will try yet again! :) Have a great day Angie! Karen

Hi Angie--Well, the 18th was my birthday and my husband surprised me and drove out so I will be with him over the weekend. What does your schedule look like next week? I got to ride Tues. and Thurs. this week and rode a beautiful trail nearby...not real long but still nice. We were lucky - the clouds parted just long enough for us to get in a short ride.:) Let me know what the coming week looks like for you! Karen
