We will be camping at Timber Ridge Campground Memorial Week and also Labor Day week if anyone would like to come and ride with us.  We are not speed demons, we just like to enjoy the scenery and get gait when the mood hits us.  Our main goal on the trail is to relax and enjoy every moment with our horses, each other, and good friends.  I hope you can come ride with us!

Happy New Year!  I thought I would start the New Year off early and make some new friends.  I'm so glad I found the Happy Hoofers!  I hope to meet up with some of you on our excursions to TN and KY.  We live in the panhandle of WV but spend at least 2 weeks (spring and fall) in TN or KY camping and riding.  I look forward to our chats and hopefully making some memories.

Good Morning!  I haven't been on TTR for quite awhile, but since I'm off work till Jan. 3rd, I thought I'd pop in and look for some horse-spiration!  This time of year I wonder why I still have horses.  My main motivation for horses is now a junior at Auburn and I have the horses to care for (4).  I love them each and all but wish I could clone myself to work with.  Dreaming of warm sunny days on the trail. Hello fellow horse crazy ladies! I am in Joelton by way of Raleigh, NC and am ready to trail ride anytime. I am looking forward to riding here in TN and surrounding states too. I will be doing some competitive trail starting in the spring. My husband does not ride, so I am glad I found this group!

Pretty much snowed in today so surfing Tennessee Trail Riders for friends and found this group.  Not very active I see, but I joined anyway.  Hope to see some activity here in 2011

We live in Fentress County west of Jamestown, TN and have four fox trotters.

We will need to plan a meet in the middle ride sometime. Put alot of faces with the names we chat with. We have several rides planned. We are headed to Orchard Cove in June. We have a few minnie weekend rides April & May. Starts to get alittle too hot around here to ride so we have to head to Tn or Va to get some relief from the heat on the back of a horse. Too hot for man and beast around here. let us know of any interesting places to venture out to.

Hello Ladies! I noticed that many of you are from N.C. I live about 20 miles west of Knoxville so getting to the Western part of N.C. is easy for me. Any places that you could recommend, I've heard that Harmon's Den is great riding??? Always wanted to ride on the Biltmore property too. I would love to join up with you sometime now that it's riding time again, always good to meet new trail buddies. Any plans of any rides at East Fork or BSF? I plan to be up there as much as possible this year, we have a little place with many stalls and a couple of campsites. My goal this year is to spend many hours in the saddle as possible! Thanks for letting me join :-)

Adrienne you are exactly right when we expand our riding buddies we expand our minds, our circle of laughter and story tellers. It is so true life is not about the destination it is about the journey and when we journey we always leave a trail. Welcome!!
