That's impressive! My horse still needs a little work but one of these days we're going to get out there! He competed for the first time last Fall over fences and did great so we're making progress.

Definitely a bucket list must! I rode some drag hunts as a child then took up the REAL sport of foxhunting at age 50!

Foxhunting is one of the things on my "bucket list". I hope I get the nerve up to try it one day!

Make that 50 and sunny (I heard) - can't wait!
I'm so giddy I think I'll take all the "S" puppies out. Won't that make for an interesting day?

WOW, our Gang has grown rather quickly... kewl.
So are we all ready to Tally Ho on Sat?? Looks like the weather will be nice,...45 and sunny sounds pretty good.

Hey Scottie,
I would LOVE to see you again. I have yet to contact anyone at CMH. Your MFH has no contact nos. that I can find. Do you have one for her?

Elese, I was told that you guys might be coming to the Jamestown area to hunt with the Cumberland Mountain Hounds. Is that correct? If so, I have room for a few horses, and some room for folks to stay. It would be fun to see you. Scottie

Robin,
yup, if the hounds strike a fox we will chase it, but here in southern middle TN, as Patti said, its usually coyote or bobcat. It is a blast, truly. read the fox hunt blogs here to catch the flavor. And we'll try toanswer any questions you might have.

There is a BIG DIFFERENCE between Foxhunters and foxtrotters. Foxtrotter is a breed of horse. Foxhunters or foxhunting is a sport.
We mainly run coyote and bobcat

I joined the "foxtrotters" instead of the Foxhunters, Oh well, but do the Foxhunters really hunt a fox?
