A Warm Montana Welcome to all who enjoy those Long Eared friends of ours. I am a trainer and raise my own Gaited Pleasure Mules, I have 2 brood mares currently while my third Mule Mamma finishes growing.

The picture used is this years baby, I wasn't sure that he would make it. Him and his twin Brother were born a month early, although his twin brother didn't make it, Half-pint is continuing to do well.

Yesterday I watched Larry the Cable Guy visiting Mule Days in Columbia, TN. on the history channel. I loved every minute of it and hope I'm not the only one to catch it.Janie DuggerContinue

Luanne, I would love to however I at the moment have no plans of riding Mules for another two years, I sold my oldest Mule and right now I just have young mules.

As for forming the group you are welcome. I have looked throught many of the pictures that members had put on this site and was wondering myself why no one had started a group, As I have seen many poeple riding mules.

I hope that your Mini mules are better behaved than the one I have been around. He was such a sweet little character and always wanted attention. The only down side is he would tear through gates if we took Horses out of the pasture to ride, he just had to be where that action was.

I am so glad someone has started a long ears group! I have 2 mini mules that we love to show and now have 2 riding mules. They are awesome! They are such wonderful critters and have such unique personalities. We are so lucky to live here so close to the Celebration show grounds!
How about a long ears trail ride sometime! Thanks again for forming this group!

I bought my first molly mule as a six month old, she's now two years old. I love her. I have learned along the way about mules and I have enjoyed every minute of it. She's suppose to be a gaited mule, but I really can't tell if she gaits yet? But she is very smart and has learned a lot of tricks and ground manners. I plan on breaking her this Spring, or she'll break me!!!HA-HA!!!! I have broke several horses, but never a mule,so if you have any good advice for me on the difference between breaking a mule versus a horse, please let me know???? I have ground drove her ,and she does really well, but when I stepped in the stirrup and acted like I was gonna get on ,she moved away from me.So I figured she's just not ready yet!!! So I'm giving her more time to mature and will try again this Spring. Her name is Jewel and you can see her on my photo page.I'm glad you started this club for the Long Eared lovers!!!!! Thanks,Audrey

I have Spotted Saddle Horses, a spotted saddle mule and I just aquired a yearling jack. I love the long ears. They definitely demand an owner with a good sense of humor. I feel blessed to live where I can attend the Mule Celebration in Shelbyville, TN and Mule Day in Columbia, TN.
