Cindy I was laid up for a year and a half  on crutches or in a wheel chair with 3 foot surgeries. I now have two pins in my foot and do just fine. Don't give up...if I had stopped 10 years ago I would have missed some of the most important people and places of my life. I pray God will continue to allow me to ride as long as I am on this earth. Even if I have to crawl on the back of my horse or have some young person put me on. You are just feeling bad because of the drugs they give you and how bad you feel. But hang it there it will get better. That time was some of the best I have ever had because God taught me to know Him and Hear His voice. I would not trade that for anything, the pain was worth it.

Well, surgery on my ankle is over and I ended up with Seven breaks!  It's very despressing and makes me think I should sell my horses and give up.  I hate being feeble.

Oh, Cyndy!  I feel so bad for you.  I'm sending healing thoughts your way.  I know what it's like to be broken up.  Take care!

Well, I won't be riding for awhile.  I tripped and slid in the mud and dark New Year's eve out at the barn and broke my anke in four places.

I do believe anyone is welcome here.  At least, I hope so.

Would love to ride on Sunday after church but I am afraid my horse is so full of himself it might be detrimental to my health!

Hi, Nora!  Yes, you trimmed our girls for us in September.  And saved our vacation, I might add!  thanks, again, for the short notice response.  Our farrier said they looked great when we returned.  We still use front boots when necessary but after an year being barefoot they are transitioning very well.  Hope to meet up with you next year!!!!

Lyndsey, didn't I trim your horses for you last Memorial Day at Timber Ridge?     Maybe we'll go out there in 2011 and do just that!!

The weather looks fabulous for Sunday the 2nd!!   Anyone want to meet up at East Fork Stables for a ride??     We ride fairly slowly, with a few trots/ gaits or canters thrown in for fun.    We enjoy the scenery and the company.     Who's in??
