Tina.. thanks!  but it looks like hubby wants to go with me so we're going to go up to Timber Ridge. He's never been with me camping so I'll take him this time..lol.  Keep me posted on other rides tho.  Would love to get involved more!  I'm ok driving the rig, just not the best at backing it up. ( gas sometimes poses a problem too, but getting used to it). You drive a truck.. cool.

Hi gang, just joined the group. I'm located in Waverly, Tn & trailride here as much as possible. Also we like to travel to different places & ride. Hope I see you on the trails.

Hi I just joined the group.  Im new to the tennessee trail riders and seems most the groups listed are specfically out of my area.  Anyone else north of knoxville? im on the KY TN line in Jellico, TN.  I feel for the person who is discouraged right now.  My horse fell with me a few years back and I eventually had back surgury dec 2009.

Cyndy, if you were anywhere near me, I would have tried to help you out with horse chores! It is hard sometimes, to be the only "horse person" in the family. I hope you heal fast! You'll be back in the saddle in no time. Take care.

Thank you so much for the encouragement!  My ankle sounds so simple compared to what you ladies have been through.  I will try and focus on 10 weeks from now.  I'm the only one in my family that really deals with the horses so its I've had to hire someone to feed and switch the horses out of the stalls and keep them clean.  It's so easy when I can just take care of it myself.  Oh well.  Thinking of spring and better horse days.

Don't give up, Cyndy!  I know you are all bummed out right now.  I was a bad horse accident 8 years ago.  I broke my back in 5 places, my pelvis in 3 places, my hip joint, dislocated my shoulder and have multiple stress fractures in my neck.  It's been a long road to recovery, but I never gave up hope and I never stopped trying to ride, even though it often caused me intense pain.  If you are a horse person, if that's how you see yourself, don't give up.  Once you have your mobility back and your pain is controlled you'll be longing for a trail ride.  I wish you all the best and the fastest healing possible!  And, I hope to meet you on the trail some day when we visit TN!
