Joe and I took the chain saw this morning and did some clearing so the trails will be in good shape for the Saturday March 10th Benefit ride. Don't forget riding out at 10am...spread the word and bring your friends.

Is this for your program in South Dakota? What is the cost?

Yes, it is to help us with our summer program there on the reservation. We are suggesting a $10 donation but it is not required, as we are not providing a meal. Everyone has to bring their own a lunch and drink. I surveyed some folks who said they would prefer this. Also, will have beaded feathers for your horse's mane or yours for donation of $5.00 or more. Praying for a beautiful day and lots of riders.

We had 66 on last years ride. Here is a few of the folks from that ride.

can you give directions from Murfreesboro?

Take I 65 south of Nashville to Exit #47 Columbia/Hwy 99 (Cracker Barrel Exit), Go toward Columbia stay on this to Hwy 50 exit, then take it West toward Williamport about 15miles. Go through the Williamsport community up a long hill and entry to Williamsport Lakes will be on your right, go straight in to trail head parking.

Are there any horse/camping facilities close by in case we wanted to come in the night before?

Maury County Park will sometimes let you, in Columbia. But, have to call and plan ahead.

so coming from Dickson would I go the Trace and get off at Hwy 50?

Yes, then go toward Columbia about 1 mile and entrance on Left to Williamsport Lakes, just go straight in and greeters will be there to help with parking and take donation.

thanks, plan to be there Lord willing and creek quit rising!
