Event Description

We're headed to visit Charit Creek Lodge! June 27th - This is Donna's all-time favorite place to ride to and you can join her if you'd like. A full day 26 mile (round trip) ride to the historical land mark where you will meet Greg, the host of the lodge and he will prepare lunch for us when we arrive (small fee applies - reservations required) or you can bring your own lunch. Built in the early 1800's, and on America's National Historical Register, this rustic homestead is one of the few places in United States that is still in existence and fully operational with NO ELECTRICITY! AND, if that's not cool enough, you can only get there by horseback or hiking!! We'll ride through beautiful Big South Fork. Gorgeous trails, beautiful creek crossings and bluffs. Then explore this romantic landmark before riding back to True West. A favorite ride for some - and sure to be yours too! Come on Friday and make a weekend of it!!
