Hi Sam--Getting up a ride? Let me know when. I'd sure like to ride with you again this year. Maybe we can find our way around a bit better this year. I'll need a few days notice to get ready.

Thank you for the invite, Sam! We'd love to ride with you sometime soon! There are a variety of riders in our little group - some ride gaited horses (like me) and some ride Quarter horses. Some ride western, some ride English - but we are all a pretty good ole group who say "yeeehah!" when we get to ride. LOL ;-) -- We have ridden at BSF at the Station Camp HOrse camp trailhead (it was nice, and the trails were nice as well. There was a variety of scenery. Also went to Bandy Creek (nice trail to Charit Lodge), Honey Creek (nice scenery with Needles Eye, but challenging trails which I like anyway). Have not stayed at Zenith, Eastfork, TrueWest, Saddlevalley or Timber Ridge yet. Sometime I would like to do a backcountry camp and trail ride if anyone is interested. We did that in the Smokies, and it was fun (though you have to watch for bears).

Hi Sam, next time you're headed to Zenith at BSF, let me know and we can likely ride. I live in that neighborhood. Looking forward to meeting you.

I cannot go until after the 13th or so. I took Hubby on a long ride one day and he admitted to me later that he kinda (sigh) hated it. Also, the kids are still a bit young to be on horses on the trail IMO. So, I have been trying to find other folks to ride with. It is okay with me to get away a little anyway. (:

Nice buckskins! My husband, after many horses, finally found a good buckskin. He has had a few but they were never right for him, either SHE was too advanced for him to ride or he couldn't stop HIM.
