TAKING A SUNRISE RIDE ON THE BEACH OF AMELIA ISLAND FL. WAS TOO ROMANTIC, AND THE BIG BEND AT THE SOUTHERN MOST POINT OF TEXAS WAS AWESOME BUT THE SO WAS NEW MEXICO AT THE BASE OF THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS, THEN THERE WAS ST MARTINQUES , FRANCE, RIDING THRU THE VINEYARDS & ANCIENT TOWNS WAS OVERWHELMING, THE TOTALLY HISTORIC OUTLAW TRAIL IN UTAH. OR THE RAINFORREST OF ST CROIX,BUT HE RAIN FORREST ON MAUI WAS NICE TOO.THE BILTMORE ESTATES ARE SO VERY TRANQUIL, BUT I WOULD HAVE TO SAY OVERALL IT IS THE BEAUTIFUL SMOKEY MOUNTAINS IN TENNESSEE.

Montana trail ride

Early this morning the temp was about 55. after crossing the border and back into montana, about 15 miles north of Butte, I pulled into a rest area. the view was so beautiful with the mountains in the background, and a serpetine river rushing over boulders, I decided to sit a spell. I got Doc Holiday out and let him forage and it was then that I saw an old logging road in the woods.

I couldnt stand it, so I saddled up and we rode, following the river for about 45 minutes and then came back… Continue

Where is a good place to stay there, and other things to see and do? I would greatly appreciate any info you can give me. I will probably be making a trip there this summer. Hope you are having a marvelous time. Jeannie C!

Hello Marty! What is it like to ride at Amelia Island? I hear it is beautiful. Can you take your own horse or do they provide? Hope all is well with you! Jeannie C!

Hi Linda, you might have better luck putting this on the Western Shooting Horse listbot. you will need to furnish a phone number and an address. you can also email me at CMartyGo@comcast.net and I can forward it for you.

Marty, I have a friend with a trained mounted shooting horse they would like to sell. At present he is not advertised. I have ridden with them and he is a really great horse. He is a Buckskin paint and really beautiful and calm. I think they are asking $2000 for him. They have 4 walkers now and only do gaited riding now. They would like to pick a good home for him. Let me know and I will hook you up with their email.

Marty i heard that the Twin Fork Trails have a rich history behind them. Since you are the go to man for knowledge, can you tell me the story behind the trail?

Wayne and Summer Rain almost walked over one earlier this summer, just down the road from our house. We were riding uphill on a gravel road that had some big huge rocks kind of stacked on one side of the road. I think he must have come out from under them. Anyway, Wayne didn't see it until Summer almost stepped on it. The snake didn't coil up or anything, just lay there, thank God. He stuck to the middle of the trail after that! I have seen 2 this year.
