I like Buckskin and White...Where did you get your black mare bred to The First Aura?? Dickie Gardner??? I tried buying one that was bred to him a couple of months ago but he wanted $700 for her. My email is SplashNGal5@aol.com and my web site is www.TIbbsHorseFarm.myeweb.net in case you would like to check it out. Nice talking with you, and good luck with your mares and babies. At least someone is still breeding for spots!!!

Hey Brooke -

I believe I know what colt you are talking about. I tried to buy him off of Jack Way the day before you came and picked him up. How is he bred? I really liked him...what are you asking for him? Nite Fire may have some left over semen, but I donno where you would get it from. The Isreal people gave $15,000 for him off of Time Vance. But Tim gave about that for him when he purchased him from Lester Newton. That was a super nice horse. There arent many Buck/White Horses to choose from now. They say you have to breed bays, palaminos, and colors like that to get a buckskin and white. But my mare just has that creme gene. I bred her to a sorrel one time and she threw a golden palamino stud colt. I bred her to a black and white stallion and we got a champagne and white stud colt. Bred her to Alens Nite Fire, and got a buckskin and white filly. My Nite Fire filly is my 2 yr old country pleasure filly for this year. She has about 30 rides on her and she is going to be so easy to finish out.

No semen, we had her bred a hew years back when Tim Vance still owned the stallion. He has since been sold to Isreal as a breeding stallion. I guess there wont be anymore Nite Fire babies. And believe me, it is a shame, b/c everyone I have had are easy to break, and gentle with a lot of heart. I love tri colors. But at that price, which isnt probably wrong, I wouldnt be able to ride her a while and then resell. Mares are just getting harder for me to sell unless they have some kind of show record or something. The last Mare I had, "All Jacked Up", I sold for $4600. But I had to make her a WC Country Trail Pleasure Horse first. I also had 3 years of hard work and saddle time. She parked out to get on and off of too. Mares I can sell for about $800-1250....anymore than that, they better be geldings. I donno why people have a thing against mares. That is all I ever ride. I dont have any problem with mine, but it is so hard to talk people into them.

My Buckskin and White Tobiano Filly is out of "Alens Nite Fire". He is Buckskin and White Holmozygous. She is out of a Palamino Roan Walking Mare. Her dam carries a creme gene, and has always thrown Buckskins, Palaminos, and Champagne colts. So I guess I bred her to throw the Buckskin and White Color. It ended up being a filly, which I wish it was a stud colt - BUT fillies are nice too.
