I bought Sunny about 4 years ago - he was a 3 year old gelding, and the most beautiful Palomino. I fell in love with him instantly. I had never really ridden much before getting him and I'm still learning. He and I are learning together - and we've had our share of falls. I mostly just ride out in the pastures and along the country roads where he's kept. Since it's about 1 hour drive, I only get out on the weekends. I would love to get into trail riding - but I don't know where to begin. I hope to meet some new folks, get some more experience, and just have fun.
Thanks Alison, Our wedding was out of the ordinary but FUN. That colt in the x-mas pic is my son and a filly that I bottle raised. She is the sweetest thing (well so is he) LOL. Hope you can get out on the trail. Were do you live? My mom taught a lady how to ride at Why Not Ranch. The trails are not hard at all. Best thing to do on your first trail ride is go with someone who has a horse that will not hesitate, and you should do fine. Pretty horse.
Howdy Allison, thanks for joining Tennessee Trail Riders. We look forward to your "horsey" pictures that you can post and share with others on our website. Also try your hand at posting events, videos and trail ratings. Feel free to invite friendly trail riders and horse lovers by clicking on "INVITE" on the main menu (top right corner of the main page).
I hope this site is helpful in meeting new riding buddies and making your FIRST trail ride...you'll love it. Keep an eye on the EVENTS section announcing trail rides and equine events featuring and including our members.
Again, thanks for joing the website, we look forward to meeting you.
Cheers and happy trails,
