Hi, Kathy
It was great to meet you as well. I have not been able to ride too much lately. I went home to New Orleans for July 4th. Was hoping for good weather this past weekend, but no such luck. Will talk with you soon,

Hi Kathy, we are so busy ramping up the new place, there is little plans for trail riding. Also, show season is around the corner with the Equine Affair in Ohio coming up first. We'll be bringing 6 horses to this event.

Next weekend we'll be in Pucketts for Hi-Power, come join us!!!

Oh, thank you Kathy. You should come out and ride with us this weekend! Did you see Josh's post on this page about it? We going to have a "knock the dust off your saddles" ride. Saturday at our place at 11:30am. Do yoy have a horse trailer? Come anyway even if you can't ride. We're grilling burgers, and the weather should be great! Can't wait to see you.

Thanks for your kind comments about the website. Yes, it has been very personally rewarding, I am so happy to hear of stories like yours and other stories where people who have not ridden their horses much in the past and are now riding regularly with other folks in "safe" groups. I have created the same type of website for about 10 other states in the U.S. and soon I will be releasing a classified section where people can post their horses and horse "stuff" for sale on the website. So, stay tuned...there is more to come.

I look forward to riding with you again sometime soon.

Cheers and happy trails,
Mike

Hi, Kathy,
I see you like to ride at Percy Warner. Check-out the upcoming ride on March 28. It is a barefoot ride, but all are welcome. Good bunch to ride with. Also you might want to check out the CNH trailride, he is close to you if you live in Franklin. I like your horsey pictures. See ya on the trails.

It should be able to handle a 2 horse BP with just one horse in it. Do you have a V8 or V6 engine? V8 would be better, but a V6 will work for short hauls.

Hey Kathy, I forgot to tell you that you can rent a trailer from the co-op. The one in Franklin and Fairview have one. They are bumper pull stock types and they charge $35.00 per day. Better than staying at home, and a workable option until you can purchase your own or find a regular ride. If you haven't ever pulled a trailer I can help you learn how to pull and back up. See ya!

Good to hear from you. I'm not really sure if I'm going next Sat. but I only have a 2 horse trailer and usually I have my granddaughter with me. However, I will keep you in mind for the times when I have an open slot. Maybe we can ride out from your house again in the near future.

Hi Kathy, Im sorry my earlier response didn't go through. My trailer is a two-horse, straight load bumper pull. It is 12 feet long (i think) with dual axles with brakes. There is an escape door on the passenger side. It is 61/2 feet tall and six feet wide. I haul a 16+ TWH and 14.3 TWH with it. It has a small tack area under the front mangers (what you typically see in this type of trailer) It is a steel CM, Circuit Champ, charcoal in color and in great shape. The floor is excellent and there are literally only a few, very small spots of rust. I have kept it covered the whole time I have owned it, and have to assume, based upon its condition, that it was kept similarly before me. I always pulled it with my truck when it was loaded, however, used my ATV to move it around my house and pulled it several times with a Jeep Wrangler. I dropped it off at Guy Wallace Trailer Sales yesterday to consign it. He's asking $3800, however, since he just got it and hasn't had to put any time into advertising it, I am sure he'd let me sell it for less and not have to go through him. Please let me know your thoughts.

Hi Kathy,
Don't have an answer yet on trail riding. My daughter may be coming home a day early & we (at this point) ponly have 2 horses. So we may just ride around here. We won't know until morning. Sorry...
