Audrey, I will ride anywhere anytime but you will have to call me to wake me up if we go early and I think I can get to your place and my trailer holds 3 horses comfortably. I can't believe you hurt yourself again you are worse than I am! That sweet mule sure does love you, she proved that to you today. I used to have a nice gray 4yr old TWH that would jump down spread eagle and jump up and spin around and run, but then when he realized I was missing he always came back to help me up. I had to get rid of him when he dumped me 4 times in 10 minutes. I miss that horse, he loved me as much as I loved him but he was to hard to ride. Call me in the morning no matter how early.

Audrey,
Thanks for contacting me. I would love to plan a ride someplace and meet up. The only place around here I have ever been to is Percy Werner and another place more towards murfreesboro but I can't recall the name. I have only been down in chapel hill for about a year. Hopefully it will dry up soon and we can ride.

Hey, it's suppose to RAIN ALL WEEKEND! This is very disturbing! WHY OH WHY? I still am looking forward to Saturday! I am praying it won't rain at least for a while so I can ride Nizhoni and see Dine' - you are still planning on bringing her to Lewisburg? if not, let me know. I want to RIDE!

Audrey, the weatherman just said it will certainly rain Wed & thunderstorms Thursday. I guess even if it didn't the trails would be very muddy after today. We'll stay in touch and will plan on riding soon!

I'd love to, but it says 50% chance of rain. I have an older cattle trailer that I'm not great at driving. I've only driven it locally with no backing involved! My friend has a 2 horse trailer, but she's working. What do you drive and do you have room for 1 more? Unfortunately I can't ride at all this weekend because of a baby shower and family visiting. We will get together soon!

This Thursday sounds good to me. How about going someplace new for a change. How far is Mini Cedars? Or how about we give Circle E another chance and ride the other side people say is so nice. Persey Warner was a bit squishy in places bot not a whole lot, we had a nice ride there. LadyHawke and Cloud like to gait side by side. Maybe if Randal is off from his part time jobs he would want to come with us. I want you to meet him. I'm on for Thurs, call to set up details.

I know exactly where you are - my husband's family owned the house and land next to the old lasea(sp?) church till a few years ago. It has been all cleared by the new owner and looks so different now. His aunt and uncle - tony and shelia Holoton still live behind there. It is sounding like rain most of this week - next week may be better.

Audrey, I think we better postpone until next week. It looks like rain tomorrow. I should have a day off during the week next week. I will let you know.

Audrey, I just watched the weather and there is a 40% chance Wednesday. We can watch the weather tomorrow and see. I figure 9 would be a good time. Fountain Creek will be ok since you said you go during the week and haven't had a problem. Here is my cell 931-224-5991 and you can give me yours so we can call each other. The horse with the long mane is my SSH mare, Jenny. Her mane just grows that way. I guess some horses have long manes and some won't grow long no matter what you do. I have two horses that just won't grow a forelock. If we get to ride Wednesday will you be bringing a gaited horse or non-gaited? I have both and they are both good on trails.

Hi Audrey, I have ridden at Fountain Creek but it is very rocky the first part of the ride. I have also come across several people walking around there that made me uncomfortable. Once a couple were "making out" in a car. Another time there were a group of men playing paint ball in the woods. Of course the horses went bonkers. I don't think anyone patrols the area and people have caught on. Another time kids were driving their truck very fast through the puddles and then there were the kids that came to drink. I don't feel safe riding there anymore.
