I might have a couple you might like. I think tha blue ridge saddle would work, and I also have a 15" H&H western saddle it weighs approx 25 lbs. The synthetic saddle works real good for that kind of work too. I broke a few horses with the sythetic saddle. If you want to give me your E-mail I can get some pics over to you. I'm asking $3oo for he H&H. Don't let the 14" seat scare you away from the the sythetic saddle, the seat is not that small. I usually am not comfortable in a 14", but I can in the sythetic. I've take it trail riding often on my Saddlebred in training right now. The sythetic saddle is not a bad looking saddle either, it does look nice, and it is not tore up. The H&H is a very nice saddle also. I have ridden it on everything from my quarter horse, to my mom's speed racking horse. It actually is the saddle my mom rides on her speed racker. I have ridden it on my Tenn. I would recomend the H&H, or the sythetic over the barrel saddle for trail ride beaking. They are a little more comforable for long term riding. I'm shooting this weekend in Murfreesboro at the miller collesium. I have my barrel saddle with me, but not the others. If you have extra time this weekend, and are close to Murfreesboro drop on in. You can see some quality mounted shooting excitment, and take a look at the saddle. It's easier to talk saddles in person. I want to make sure that a saddle is going to work. I have accumulated many saddles, while trying to find the right one. If you want I can have the other saddles down at the shoot if you are interested. I'm live in Indiana, and I can have my mom bring them down with her this weekend. I need to get these saddles moving out, to make room for a saddle that works for Zombie, and we can compete in comfortable. Thank you for your reply.
wow that was only his 3rd show?
you have some calm horses then. lol my horses would have been everywhere except for Chester. that's what I love about him. he's up for anything and I never have a problem out of him. =]
well for not knowing what you're doing, you did a really good job out there. lol =]
well thanks so much. =]
I'm just disappointed in the way they acted. I've never seen them like that. They're normally so well behaved. And I've been telling you how great they are, then they act like that. I'm sorry for the bad first impression of them.lol They'll do better since I'm not going to be riding them this weekend.
-I'm bringing my horse Chester to the Cornersville Show. so its going to be great since I don't have to worry about him acting like an idiot.
I know we have no chance at winning anything since he isn't as fancy as most horses up there but oh well. its for fun. =] I might not even show him.
I can't wait. I'll see you at the Show.
-oh and Goose is Gorgeous. =] and has a beautiful gait. it looks so smooth.
aww ok. well good luck. =]
I cannot wait to see him in person. He is so beautiful on here.
oh that is cool you know him. lol
yeah, he always brags to me about how Freedom always wins so I figured I would so him up a little bit. lol
-Yeah we've been big in the walking horse business for awhile but got out of it the last four or five years.
I'm begging my dad to buy me another big lick horse but he won't. =[
I'm dying to get back into it but from the looks of it I'll just be showing country boy. lol
I doubt we'll go to the Celebration. but who knows.
do you plan on going?
Hi Audra, Just curious what you thought of Seven Springs Lodge. We just got back from a trip to Indiana for the Horse Progress Days. . all about using horse drawn farming equipment. We bought a cultivator for our garden. Now, to train my mule to work it without tearing up the garden or us. I hope you can find a good home for Doc. The market has been so bad for too long. Keep in touch!
Hey girl the ride turned out really good and Thanks to all Ya'll for letting us have it there. I got a head count of 210 and thats not including the ones that meet up with ya'll. And the Horse Show went really well this year. Thanks for all your help.
I got bucked off a fairly nervous green broke 4 yr. old. He spooked and spun around and I flew up on his neck...then he freaked and started bucking and gave me a flying dismount...hence the huge hip bruise!! yikes...I'm fine now...3 weeks later!
Thanks for offering, I may be contacting you lol. Chad and I have rode Jim's place before and I liked it there, Chad said that they all was going to ride it soon. We said something about just putting food on a big flat bed trailer, I'm thinking we want need any utilities for anything but I'll see what Chad saids. Did Chad say anything to ya'll about us getting ads for the horse show? we are trying to get some business to sponser classes in the show, if ya'll may know someone that would like to do that just let me know and I'll get ya'll some ad sheets. I'm hoping to have flyers and (class sheets maybe) ready by this week.
