My friend Carol Tisher is on the board and runs the mini show. Havent' been i a while for all the traffic. I just believe we've met somewhere, just can't think....maybe i'll remember when we actually meet! I know the trails at many cedars really well, and they have done a great job re routing the bad parts. I didn't like riding there at all because it was so steep and dangerous! But now I really enjoy it.

I'm 59. Been riding since in my 20's. Dressage, eventing back in the day. Started a riding school here in Hohenwald a couple years ago, but became a full time job and I"m retired from teaching for 30 years! So I intend to stay retired. Worked iwth the local Saddle club when I first came to Hohenwald 10 yrs ago. Haven't done anything with them for last 3 yrs. I have 20 acres practally in town so all riding has to be trailered to. Never heard of the ride you asked about but always looking for new places. Know Many Cedars, Buffalo Trail Ride the best, been to East Fork, Bucksnort, Birdsong and local rides at friends houses. Haven't been to Williamsport for a long time, they were just talking about letting horses use the area. I like doing the benefit rides, worked with the St. Jude Rides here for several years. We have taken over the Davey Crockett Ride at Many Cedars in October maybe you can add us to your ride schedule! Its a great time. my number is 931-505-0105

Hi Gale, I am from your neighborhood, Hohenwald. I have the same feeling about how you like to ride and with the type of trail riders. I camp at Many Cedars alot. I have gaited horses and always looking for people to ride with. I also have grand kids but still looking for suitable horses for them. They have always rode in the buddy seat but are too big! Now just waiting for weather and hunting season to be over. Let me know if there are any rides planned expecially with the mounted ministry! Always looking for new riding buddies.

Howdy Gale, thanks for joining Tennessee Trail Riders. We look forward to your "horsey" pictures that you can post and share with others on our website. Also try your hand at posting events, videos and trail ratings. Feel free to invite friendly trail riders and horse lovers.

I noticed that you added a couple comments already, one message in search of riding partners and the other about an organized ride. I know you will get more used to using the site but a quick suggestion to you is that you should "create" a campfire chat or blog in such cases. In your case you "replied" to existing messages so your's will will be hidden with the original message that your "replied to" and not read by many. In summary, when you want to start a conversation, click on the menu at the top right corner of the website like "CAMPFIRE CHATS" and then select "Start a compfire chat".

Good luck, I hope you enjoy the website and find some compatible riding buddies for you and your family (husband, children, grand-children).

Cheers and happy trails,
Mike Murphy
