Hi Herbert, No I am not getting any responses. I just wanted a safe place, no yehawing, for my family to go riding. There are 5 adults and 4 children, most teenages, but some of them don't have a lot of experience. We like to enjoy the scenery, even though we like to pick up now and then. No, 4 foot step downs and such. We rode all the time in Ohio, so we are used to steep hills, but not running down them. We would like to be within a few hrs of home, we have a lot of animals to care for. If you have any suggestions please let us know, and thank you very much for responding.
Tony has just finished it and presented it to the board. There may be an adjustment or two but it will be up on the website shortly. We are also in the process of changing the website over to someone else so there may be some glitches along the way with that, however. I'll try and post the first ride soon.
9am at the new Sulphur Creek trail head. Do you know how to get there? If not I am meeting some others at 8:45am at the trail head by the fire station in Elkmont.
Thanks for the welcome! I'll definitely keep yall in mind! Right now I'm without anything to ride! As soon as I do actually ride my gelding I hope to make some good trail rides! :-)
Yes . I worked at ICP and did carpenter work. We use to talk about horses at the lumber store. Jeff come over here a lot before he got hurt. You are welcome to come ride any time. I live about 10 miles from Summertown off hwy 20
Herb, Thanks for inviting me to be a friend. I hope you are doing well and get to do alot of trail riding this year. We plan on at least camping once a month and riding every weekend.
Herbert,
Well, you know it may have been a good thing. Sometimes things keep us away from things we don't know about. It did rain. We rode early right before the rain storm came.
Well, I look forward to the 24th!
Judi
Herbert,
Did you go trail riding this past weekend? How was it? Are you all going to Mounted Ministries Ride on the 24th?
I can't wait to meet you all.
Off to work I go! It's be super busy for me - I have a partner I work with now and we are doing great! wow! It's nice to have a partner that works just as hard.
Herbert, you take hwy 50 West past Williamsport and the trace. In Shady Grove, store on right and left, you cross bridge and turn Right on Leatherwood. At stop sign go right about a mile or so, then take 2nd paved road to left/Primm Springs. You go at least 5 mi (not real sure), will be hilly, will pass a black 4-rail fence for a long way, will go down a hill and then the road levels out crosses a bridge, there is a large new 2-story house on left in the middle of a hay field, you then turn Right on Tom Patton, which is a dirt road. If you want to follow us we can meet you at Williamsport at the store. Just let me know.

Blessings, Linda
Herbert, Fountain Creek is not the place to ride right now, very muddy and very overgrown. We are trying to get them to mow, but not much luck. Primm Springs is really special.

Herbert, if you need to stay off hills, then Primm Springs is the place to ride Sat. Have you been? If not maybe I can convince my group to go there. I rode there yesterday with a friend. It is just beautiful! Lots of water following and crossing old roads through the back woods and hills. Perfect for anyone to ride, peaceful and serene. I just love it!
Blessings, Linda
Herbert, just found out Laurel Hill is closed to trail riding for deer hunting. Not sure for how long and going to check the TWRA website and see if I can find out. We will ride somewhere on Sat. Have you ridden at Normandy Lakes? I have always wanted to try it.
Blessings, Linda
Herbert, could you wait till 11am? We already have several people scheduled then and one had a reason for going later. We would love to ride with you. Have you checked out my pics from New Mexico on my page? It was just incredible.
Blessings, Linda Grajewski
Herbert, Fountain Creek that is near Columbia if I am not mistaken. We went there this weekend and it was messy, over grown, and the road is not safe to take your trailer - water damage left big wholes that one of our trailers got stuck.
Judi
