hi Robin, yeah the horses in my pictures are gypsy vanners. They had a show here this weekend. I had a blast riding them.

Robin thank you for your comments. It is comforting to know others understand the huge feeling of loss. I have an 18 year old Thorobred, Angel, who I have had since she came off Finger Lakes Race Track when she was 5. She was the first horse I ever had that was my own. All my horses mean a great deal to me and have taught me life's most important lessons. We are very blessed to have them in our lives. Happy Trails to you. Denise

That is my friend Lauren's horse. I put all my inexperieced riders on him. I didn't get the fenders on my saddle because I can move my legs more freely and can feel my horses' sides better. Yes, go to the Skito site and they can make you a custom pad also. The beauty of these products is that you can order whatever you want.

Hi, go to sportssaddle.com or call for a catalog 270-988-2684. They come in all prices from about $900 to $1600 and they custom make them or you can buy them off the rack. I paid $1300 and mine was beautiful, all tooled to my specs with conchos, saddle strings, back cinch and a matching breastcollar. They have trail, endurance and barrel saddles .Go to the website and check it out. They are always advertised in the Trail Rider magazine.

Amen, that's were I meet with Him the best! Read my poem, New Mexico, it is an older post. I have the blessing of friends who are retired with a place just outside Ruidoso. It is an incredible area! Have a Blessed New Year with many awesome trail rides.

Ya, I think he trusts me!! He will go ANYWHERE I point him. I would not trade him for all the money in the world. There is nothing like a good horse.

Cheers back to ya. Hopefully, one of these days we'll be toasting for real at the end of a long trail ride.

Happy trails,
Mike

My husband's family had bought acreage here. We bought 15 acres across the street after we were married. I have since gone through a divorce but I love it here. The change of seasons is great.

She is beautiful. The dark colors around her really show her off. I guess I can't help but being drawn to the palms in the background. I lived 19 years in Tampa.

The picture of the cat could be in a photo contest.

Cool! It is so liberating to have your own trailer! Now find you some places to ride and camp and go for a weekend (or more). My posse and I have so much fun when we go somewhere even if it is only for the day. Stay safe and happy trails!

that gun has generated some interest. I have serveral "martyparties" at my home each year and some of my new acquaintances supposedly have some insight (euphreism for psychic) into the guns history. it is replete with death and blood and evil. I like it and my sons still like to shoot it on occassion.

Ms. Booger! I love it!

When you look at my pics, my off-track rescue is Just Call Me Sal, out of Kissin' Kris. He raced a good bit in IL and retired sound--at 4..still a baby. He is the dark bay with a white blaze and star. Seems like we share a love for the x-racers. I wish I could give a good home to more of them.
