Early this morning the temp was about 55. after crossing the border and back into montana, about 15 miles north of Butte, I pulled into a rest area. the view was so beautiful with the mountains in the background, and a serpetine river rushing over boulders, I decided to sit a spell. I got Doc Holiday out and let him forage and it was then that I saw an old logging road in the woods.
I couldnt stand it, so I saddled up and we rode, following the river for about 45 minutes and then came back to the rig.

I heard that it was in the Franklin paper. I have my copy of western shooting horse magazine today & they did a nice story

Sounds awesome Marty. I am so excited for you. I saw a write up in the local paper about your Canada trip.

I wish I was there. Montana is where I would love to go.
