Bring Your Own Horse, and come ride the beautiful gulfs of Sequatchie Valley and Mill's Creek. Ride on 25,000 acres of un-inhabited remote land, that few have traveled on. Journey to the remains of strip mines and home sites that the settlers left behind. See the breath taking views from atop of the bluffs, then journey to the gulf and ride along rippling creeks, waterfalls (weather permitting), and caves. See deer, turkey, eagles, exotic flowers, unusual rock formations, and lots of shade and cooler temps, all with a help of a personal guide.
Bring a lunch or snack, your favorite beverage, and plenty of time. Ride from one to eight hours, or primitive camping upon request. Would prefer groups of 8 or more due to the time spent riding. Cost is a $15.00 per person, for any amount of time! (Tips and donations accepted). This is a great price for all day riding with a personal guide. When you make reservations you are reserving your personal guide for that time. Ride at your own pace. Open year round, ample parking, no set schedules!

LOL Reuben you are more than welcome to ride with us when we go again. Let me know when you got a good horse and we will go. I have seen many 4x4's broke down and stuck riding thru there. 4 legs are better than 4 tires any day.

Yup, White city is right on the edge of little sequatchie river gulf. Is a nice area to wander around in. And I have met a few riding groups going through. Although I havn't been there on a horse yet. It takes all day to drive through the bottom with a 4x4, and it'd better be a good one too with very high clearance and a good winch. Can you immagine a not so good 4x4 doing it? A subaru brat. I did have a winch on it which got used, but blew several tires before making it through. That was back in my crazy days. Later I got wiser and got a decent truck. I did it so much I got tired of driving such terrien and like it better on a horse instead. Yah, the constant work of negotiating rocks and mud holes and major combinations of both get's old, ride a horse and enjoy the scenery, It's better where trucks can't go anyway.
