Does anyone know if the only way, starting at the head of the trail, down the Fountain Creek trail, besides the entrance that is very rocky, and takes you to large flat rock and an over cliff with water. We want to take my sister and her kids but I think it may make them nervous, therefore make the horses nervous. Thanks

That sounds great. We would like to get to know the trails here in our area. Back in Ohio we rode as much as possible, camped too. Thanks so much, I will call you soon.
It is a few turns to get to the river. Call me and I will take you the first time...I live close by. 931-840-6107
Thanks Linda, We can't go tomorrow, our coggins ran out, but Doc Baker is coming Wednesday to do vaccines and pull for coggins, so as soon as they come back and you are going someplace close, I will post and be happy to ride with you. As soon as school is out then we can venture further and not have to be back for the kids. They ride too.
You can still park at the main trail head and not go over the overflow rock between the two quarries. Go to the far right and follow the road around to the trail it connects on the other side. Goes around all of that....a group of us are riding tomorrow/Tuesday at The Trace off Hwy 7 if you want to join in.
I am not familiar with the area well. we just moved here last year, how do I get to the river? Thanks
